ALPACA WALK & AFTERNOON TEA EXPERIENCE
Celebrate a special occasion (or just treat yourself!) with an unforgettable Alpaca experience followed by a delicious Afternoon Tea in The Chilli Bean.
Your experience will include a health and safety briefing before demonstrating how to lead your alpaca. You will then be partnered up with your alpaca chum and your experience will begin with plenty of time for pictures! After all the fun of the alpaca walk in the fresh countryside air you will be more than ready for your afternoon tea platter served with a cup of tea or coffee.
Important Update on Our Alpaca Walks
We’re excited to announce some changes to our alpaca walking experiences! Starting in November, our walks will now be 60 minutes long. But don’t worry if you’ve already booked a 90-minute experience—your walk time won’t be affected, as we've simply shortened the health and safety briefing.

Our Alpaca Walk experience is not suitable for children aged 4 and under (and possibly for children aged up to 6) due to a walking requirement of up to 60 minutes, in sometimes rough terrain. All children aged 4 and under must be in a carrier and (or any age that staff are concerned with their ability to complete up to 60 minutes of walking) will not be permitted to attend the experience without a carrier.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Suitable clothing and footwear (sun cream and hats for sunny days, waterproofs and wellies for wetter days). Small change is always handy if you wish to purchase alpaca feed (£1 per bag).

0 - 4 years old - Carrier Required. Free no ticket required

10-15 years old - ticket required
(*must also be accompanied by a paying adult (18+); ratio of junior to adult 2:1)
16-17 years old - ticket required
(*does not need to be accompanied by a paying adult (18+) but cannot have responsibility for anyone under 16 years of age)
18+ - ticket required (*can be responsible for an under 16)
*Babies are included in the 0-9 age range, meaning if you bring a baby you will be unable to be the responsible adult of any other party member.

MORE INFORMATION
Every paying ticket holder attending the experience must walk with an alpaca. This includes all ages and abilities. We cannot allow spectators on the experience. Make sure you load up on bags of alpaca feed for £1 each,
as the alpacas love their food!
This experience is a physical activity which involves walking up hills and over uneven terrain. You must be capable of walking at a pace that keeps up with the rest of the group without putting a strain on your health so please consider this before attending the experience.
When bringing young children, adults must feel confident that their child can walk the whole distance of this experience. If they cannot, you must bring a sling or a carrier as we cannot authorise pushchairs on our experiences and cannot allow you to carry your child as you must have both hands on the rein of the alpaca at all times (see the Accessibility section in the Terms & Conditions).
If you’re pregnant please be aware that we are a working farm with live animals. We therefore have natural bacteria and parasites which in some circumstances may be harmful to a pregnancy. If you choose to come to our farm or participate in an experience we recommend you do not touch pregnant sheep or lambs and thoroughly wash your hands after being around any of our other animals, especially before consuming food.

Voucher redemption's: When using a pre-paid voucher it may take up to 24 hours for us to upload the codes onto our booking system so please allow a time gap so that your code appears as valid when booking.
Voucher expiry dates: Please note, these relate to the booking deadline, as long as your experience is booked by this date you will have the option to select a date up to 8 weeks ahead of this date (depending on scheduling).
